RAWALPINDI: Chief of Army Staff General Raheel Sharif on Wednesday paid a day-long visit to Czech Republic and met civil and military leadership in Prague.
On arrival, the army chief was presented guard of honour, ISPR Director General Asim Bajwa stated in a Tweet message. General Sharif met separately with Czech Chief of General Staff and deputy defence minister.
Issues of mutual interest, military to military, and defence cooperation were discussed. Czech Republic expressed special interest in training of officers by the Pakistan Army.
